Nasa states that there will be four blood moons from April 15, 2014 to October 2015. They have given the dates of these events.
Of significance, the first blood moon is on Passover April 15.
The next is on Sukkot 10/8/14.
A solar eclipse will occur on Adar 3/29/15 the day of Nissan, the Jewish day of celebration when the Isrealites were freed from Egyptian bondage.
Two more blood moons will occur: Passover April 4, 2015 and again Sukkot 9/28/15.
Each moon is on a significant day in Jewish history.
Is this mere coincidence? What are the written historical accounts of blood red moons? I looked into recorded events over the last 2000 years and was quite surprised to find that many of the blood-red moons have occurred on the first day of Passover and the first day of Sukkot on back-to-back years seven times since 1 A.D. Three of these occurrences were connected to 1492 (the final year of the Spanish Inquisition), 1948 (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence), and 1967 (the Six-Day War) — some of the most significant days in Jewish history.
The others were in 162/163 A.D., 795/796 A.D., 842/843 A.D. and 860/861 A.D. There are not any specific historical connections for these years at this time other than significant Jewish persecution during the eighth and ninth centuries.
In all eight examples, the eclipses have fallen or will fall on the first day of Passover and Sukkot.
There were no astronomical back-to-back blood-red moon events in the 1800s, the 1700s or the 1600s. In the 1500s, there were six, but none of those fell on Passover and Sukkoth. The 2014/2015 events will be the last this century.
I have in my blog sporadically delved into serious HMMMM….. issues. This one just blew my mind. Is this co-incidence that all these moons occurred on days that are significant in Jewish history? Or are they a sign of God acknowledging His people?

Aren’t these jewish holidays SET by the full moon? That is, they will always fall on a full moon. Secondly seems to me there are always about 2 lunar eclipses a year. Seems like nothing to me.
No but these blood moons fall on JEWISH HOLIDAYS which will not happen again in this century. God wants us to know his appointed times which are in HIS FEAST so we can be ready for his coming
The Jewish Calendar is defined by the New Moons, which were, up until the year 70 c.e., defined by the sighting of the first visible crescent after the dark of the moon, by two reliable witnesses. Now our New Moons are calculated by a mathematical formula. The night of the 14th/day of the 15th of each month is the New Moon. The Holidays of Simchat Torah, Purim, Passover, and several “minor” holidays are on the full moons. Rosh ha’Shanah, the New Year, is on the New Moon. I’m trying to figure out what the “Feast of Trumpets” is…..must have something to do with Sukkot (“Feast of Tabernacles). The whole fall month of the New Year is jammed with festivals!
To me, the most important part is that they are very much a part of Biblical prophesy, therefore when they come one should be cognizant of possible connections they may have to events as foretoled by the inspired prophets of God. Only ‘time will tell’….but one should be ready.

I didn’t know about this, but it doesn’t surprise me, given that we are in the Messianic Age, and the Jewish People are God’s “elected agents” to bring about the essential energetic changes that must occur before/during the End of Days. Not really going hmmmm…more like going “Well, that makes perfect sense.” Of course if you want to delve into this further, it may take on Montana-like proportions (or Putin-like proportions), or shall we venture to say “mountains of copious analysis.”

This small post is just the tip of the iceburg. From a Christian perspective, there is a lot of Bible prophesy surrounding blood moons, which is my interest, other than the very interesting unusual phenoma of 4 back to back. I believe God coordinates events to tie in with signs in the heavens! Just my personal faith.
When the moon changes phases, there is a “portal” that opens, as a door, a passage, upwards or downwards. Many people see stairs in visions and dreams, with angels climbing up and down. There are people that can enter those portals, too. When there are eclipses, the portals are bigger and stronger. It is as if you can feel God’s glory closer to you. It is wonderful when you pray during one of the portals. And these blood moons are great opportunities to draw closer to God.
Regarding them happening during the Lord’s feasts, it is not merely coincidental. It is a time of rehearsal for the rapture and of great significance to Israel.
I “feel in my bones” that this is a very significant event, but outside of what the Bible says I don’t like to surmise. Time will reveal all secrets!
